“My Ayrton” at the Vatican
The Sculpture “My Ayrton” by Lalalli Senna is handed over to the Pope and becomes part of the Vatican Museum Collection. Lalalli was represented by her sister and director of the Ayrton Senna Institute, Bianca Senna, as at the time, Lalalli had just had a baby.
The action was part of another tribute to Senna in 2019, a year marked by the 25-year legacy of the three-time F1 world champion. “My Ayrton” is a sculpture whose process of creation and execution began in 2014, when the mother of the pilot, Neyde Senna, was personally commissioned by the network, visual artist and composer Lalalli Sena.
